A Work In Progress
I am a work in progress,
Learning all the time,
Sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly,
I try hard to be kind.
I am a work in progress,
Aiming towards God's plan;
The times I do best,
Are when in Him, I take a stand.
I try to listen to Him,
To others, His servants, too,
For guidance and understanding,
His love always shines through.
I am a work in progress,
I hide God's Word in my heart;
I pray to Him, continually,
Being with Him brings me comfort.
“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” Psalms 119:11
