God's Masterpiece (A Song)
I am God's masterpiece,
His precious work of art;
Created in His image,
From Him I'll not depart.
I am a fallen creature,
Not a puppet on a string;
He cares for me, as always,
For Him I'll ever sing.
He gave His Son on Calv'ry's tree,
His arms were open wide,
He did the best, He won the test,
A thief on either side.
I cling to Him more than before,
My Savior, Lord, is He;
He gently leads me, off'ring peace,
From bondage I'm set free.
